| Detailed Itinerrary:
Day 1 - Ho Chi Minh City - Arrival Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, your guide and private car will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. This afternoon and evening are free at leisure. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City Your Vietnam family tour begins with a fabulous excursion to the Cu Chi tunnels where kids will be fascinated by the tunnels and stories of life in the jungle. Visit a local rescue center for animals and learn about efforts to protect Vietnam's rare wildlife. Returning to the city, you'll zip through town by local trucks, visit hidden markets, join the locals as they light incense at the temples and enjoy a delicious barbeque dinner. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. Leave the city behind this morning for a three day excursion to the Mekong Delta where vibrant colors and scenes of local life will delight kids as well as adults. You'll embark on an overnight cruise aboard a wooden river boat, slowly making your way through the magical waterways of the Delta and stopping to visit local villages. Overnight aboard the Basaac Boat.
Awake early to cruise through the busy floating market at Cai Rang, one of the Delta's most iconic sites. Then return to land for an afternoon cycling along the quiet laneways of Can Tho on your way to a local homestay. Your family will be welcomed into a house on the outskirts of Can Tho where you will experience the traditions and culture of rural Vietnam.
Say farewell to your host family this morning and drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. This afternoon is at leisure in the city. Walk to the park, browse the markets for souvenirs, relax at the hotel or let Exotissimo plan an excursion for your family.
Head for the hills today as you fly from Ho Chi Minh City to Dalat. Under the watchful eye of an expert guide, your family will navigate through canyons and explore spectacular waterfalls in the cool highland air. Enjoy a picnic by the falls and go for a swim before returning to your hotel for a relaxing evening.
Ready for an unforgettable adventure? Leave Dalat by bike for a downhill ride to the Cai River where you'll trade in your bike for an inflatable raft to complete the journey to Nha Trang. Passing through spectacular scenery of hills, valleys and rivers, this is a unique way to travel between these two cities and is a great way for your family to enjoy Vietnam's natural beauty.

Tour Overview: The Halong bay is another famous place for kayaking in Vietnam. Kayak is also the best way to explore the beauty of Halong. Paddle through the islets, to visit hidden caves, lagoons, unspoiled beaches, floating-fishing village, and have a talk with local fish-man. Due to the thousands of islands on the bay, the water is calm, the current is fine, and the wind is not too strong are ideal condition for sea-kayaking.Regardless of the threat of the "here be dragons," the waters of Halong Bay are ideally suited for sea kayaking. It is the best way to explore this World Heritage Site. This is also a wonderful place for beginners to be introduced to this easy sport. The expert guides will teach you all the requisite skills. Silently and unobtrusively, you can thread the maze of jagged isles to discover secret passages to hidden lagoons and magnificent sea caves. |

| Detailed Itinerrary:
Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay (L/ D) Leave Hanoi for Halong Bay at 8.30am. On the way we will have a short break for refreshment at a handicraft centre. Upon arrival in Halong City we board a wooden boat for a fine seafood lunch and a short cruise to Thien Cung Cave. After a short exploration of the cave we enjoy a beautiful cruise through an amazing area of limestone islets. We will pass a floating village to reach Luon Cave, which is a tunnel thrusting through a mountain. Take a bamboo boat to visit the cave. Back to the junk for dinner and overnight. Day 2: Kayaking Halong Bay (B/ L/ D) After breakfast we start paddling to Van Chai Floating village and then continue paddling to Dark Cave. Tide permitting, we explore this amazing cave by kayak. The cave is a 200m long, dark tunnel thrusting through a limestone mountain. The tunnel is the only entry to a secluded and beautiful lagoon. We can also explore some other caves nearby. Lunch on support boat in front of the cave. After lunch we paddle to Ba Trai Dao Lagoon, along a stunning and fairly rough sea channel, to explore its beautiful beaches. Continue paddling to Lan Ha Bay, which is smaller than Halong Bay but much more interesting with lots of secluded beaches. Cruise back to Halong Bay for dinner and overnight on mother boat Day 3: Kayaking – Halong Bay (B/ L/ D) Breakfast on boat. Transferred by support boat to Lan Ha Bay, where we start paddling across a wide sea channel to reach Dau Be Island, which has a small fishing settlement. To the western side of the island is Ho Ba Ham (Three Tunnel Lake), a deep grotto with three inland "lakes. The grotto is accessible only at low tide by kayak. There are beautiful beaches around, where we could stop for swimming. Optional paddling around the island. Lunch on support boat.
Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/ L) Breakfast on the junk and enjoy the sundeck of the junk while she navigates amazing rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay to get back to Halong City. Lunch on the junk before heading back to Hanoi by bus. Meals: Breakfast and lunch on mother boat Exclusion: |
